• Certainly one of the biggest injuries so far as the Orangemen suffered a huge blow with the ACL tear of Eric Devendorf.

• Interesting article discussing Bob Huggins’ homecoming to West Virginia and how he almost took the same job in the spring of 2002.

• These losses might not be considered upsets anymore for Louisville as they suffered their second straight loss and their third loss in the last five.

• It appears that Derrick_Caracter might not be attending any more classes at Louisville. Right after he suspended Caracter for roughly a week, Rick Pitino told the Courier-Journal that if Caracter does not get drafted he will try the D-League rather than return to Louisville for his junior year.

• Butler got a comfortable win over another BCS conference school now giving them wins over Florida State, Texas Tech, Virginia Tech, Ohio State and Michigan.

• Oklahoma head coach Jeff Capel had a midnight practice after his team lost to Stephen F Austin and his team seemed to respond with a 11 point win over Arkansas.

• ESPN’s Chris Low has a feature on Australian freshman AJ Ogilvy. Interesting facts, Ogilvy was only offered a scholarship by New Mexico, St Mary’s and UNLV and he was only initially seen by current Gonzaga assistant and former Utah head coach Ray Giacoletti because he was in Australia trying to persuade Andrew Bogut to return for another season.

• I know Oklahoma State wasn’t supposed to be anything special this season, but it was only four years ago that the Cowboys were in the final four and now they have lost 14 straight road games after Saturday’s 17 point loss to Pitt.

• Fox Sport’s Jeff Goodman talked to Virginia coach Dave Leito about Sean Singletary’s play.

“Virginia senior point guard Sean Singletary is still getting used to playing without J.R. Reynolds.”A lot of it has to do with J.R. not being here," Cavaliers coach Dave Leitao said. "He didn’t have to shoulder all the responsibilities when J.R. was here that he has now."
Singletary’s numbers are still impressive. He’s averaging a career-high 19.3 points and 7.2 assists – which is a major improvement from the 4.7 he averaged last season. However, he’s also averaging 5 turnovers per game. "He’s turning it over at a higher rate," Leitao said. "But I don’t think he’s hit his stride yet."
Singletary wasn’t at full-strength in at least two games – the win at Arizona and the home loss to Syracuse. "I’m not worried at all," Leitao added.”
