I know he is a solid athlete(or what I heard), but I haven't seen him play much, or at all.

From what everyone says he's raw and a project that will come over in a few years. Maybe the admins know more?

What I know about him is that he is athletic and long. Great shot blocker, very raw. All offense is put back dunks. I believe he was a volleyball player before(?). But I could be wrong.

Guess Spurs wanted someone that can defend after Duncan and Mohammad.

I would like to know some measurements, like wingspan and vertical.

The information of Mahinmi being a former volleyball player is absolutely wrong. It was transmitted by ESPN on the Draft night, but it is NOT true. There is another French prospect called Sidiki Sidibe (1985, 2m14) who was a former French youth-NT Volleyball player. But he is now playing in Levallois (ProB - 2nd french league)
