How about this kid? is he worth a serious look?
He has legit size for a NBA center but is extremelly raw at the moment.
Is he athletic enough to compensate the gamble?
He is playing rare minutes in France's second division.

I hqven't seen him play so far, but as a former volleyball NT player, he should have a good leaping ability.

So he did really play volleyball, and for France's NT! Impressive.
It seems he is as raw as he can be, no game to speak of, no skills.
Did he just started at basketball? How long is he playing?

That's interesting... he was playing for the volleyball national team, but then thought... "oh hell, maybe i'll take a shot at this other sport..."

I'm confused...

At 7'1, playing volleyball? what a waste! You don't have to be over 6'7-6'8 to be considered a tall volleyball player.
I think the kid did right, if he had any way with basketball he should give it a try. He has until next year to show some game to the NBA.
If not just return to volleyball and tower over every other player.
