Scouting report on him? Anybody?
I know him from his time in Holland.
He is a long and active PF, good mobility, decent leaping ability, nice stroke.
Has really developed in Spain. Nice fundamentals!

Does somebody from Spain can give me some more information about this player? I don´t speak spanish, but as i could see it on the acb site it looks like Norel is playing good games in the Sub20 competion for Joventut.
Joventut seems to be a very nice place for young players and their development.
Alicante Costa Brava, which plays in the “LEB Oro” (second league in Spain) has come to terms with DKV Joventut that Henk Norel will be loaned to this club. The first and foremost reason is to let henk play at a higher level, and let him get used to playing a mens game.

norel will likely get a look in 2009 when he is automatically entered in the mid second or could go unddrafted.
he is quick, plays hard, can score from the post, good potential, needs to add weight/strength, can hit the midrange shot but very inconsistently, needs to prove himself and is far from a polished product.
you asked for proof?
He's proving himself for sure:

Playing better than welknown teammates:
Taylor Coppenrath
Keith Waleskowski
Martynas Andriuskevicius
+ Performing in the second best team in the 2nd league in Spain.
+ Being the best inside guy
+ Having the second best rating
-> on this team which features a lot of (expensive) proven European and USA players.

funny draftexpress reported last week he was staying in 90% and now nbadraft.net did an interview with him yesterday that said he already pulled out and will be playing with joventut next year (rubio's team) the thinking here is he will get more exposure for scouts coming to see rubio also and be able to work himself into a first round pick.
Henk is doing a good job this year in the ACB. Getting 7 points and 3 boards per game.

In the Euroleague he's mostly a hustle player, doing a good job at that.

Any predictions on where he'll end up being drafted?

Will get onto a lot of radars due to the Rubio factor but should get drafted next year anywhere from late first to mid 2nd round.
