What happened to Ivan Chiriaev ?

This young man promised - he will play a year in Europe and then he'll be in NBA. I found that he was 2004-2005 in Dynamo Moscow, but where is he now?

He is playing in small team in Holland.his average is about 3-3.5 points for game.Seems like he is just an average player,surely not something special
as everybody said two or three years ago.

There was recently a story on him in Gigantes del Basket, a Spanish basketball magazine. They talked to him and he's still thinking about the NBA and blames injuries for not letting him play up to his potential. The title of the story was something like, "Ivan Chiriaev, the First Internet Hoax".

In Amsterdam, he was crap.. !!!
even the youthplayers from Amsterdam were outplaying him badly.
In a small league with no dominating inside guys, he couldn't even post up anybody.
