These came out about two months ago, but I must have missed them while I was traveling. Both are terrific.

First one is about the way International teams train and develop young players. Specifically CSKA Moscow, the Serbian powerhouses, and the Arvydas Sabonis and Sarunas Marciulionis academies in Lithuania:

The Washington Post has been impressing the heck out of me all year long. Between Steinberg, Prisbell, Michael Lee and the rest of the gang, I think it might be the best paper in the country for Sports.

Yeah. I wrote a paper on the shoe wars awhile ago and they are by far the best journalists out of the bunch: better than bigger papers and (supposed) better writers...
