I didn't listen to the broadcast (was at a bar, too busy ehm, it was noisy...) but it seems like Vitale was implying that Donovan was somehow rubbing it in in Kentucky's faces by not pulling all of his starters with however many minutes left to go. Seems odd considering that the game ended by 15 and Kentucky was still pressing, fouling and thinking they were still going to make a comeback.
Article in the Kentucky paper today shows that this is still an issue for the Wildcats:
Kentucky Coach Tubby Smith noticed that several of Florida's starters stayed on the floor until the final seconds of Saturday's game. During a team meeting on Sunday, Smith made sure his players knew that, too.
"Everybody wants to beat us," forward Bobby Perry said when asked why he thought Smith mentioned Florida's substitution pattern. "Right now, people think we're vulnerable. They're going to take it as hard as they can and as long as they can. They're going to beat us as bad as they can."
Teammate Sheray Thomas added a Remember-the-Alamo note. "We'll remember that," he said. "We'll see them again at the end of the season. You can take it from there."

This is pretty strange considering that Florida barely has any depth at all (especially with the starting shooting guard being injured) and absolutely no backup PG. Vitale is quoted there saying that the game was over with 5 minutes left and that Donovan should have pulled his starters (and put in the walkons?).
Sour grapes?
