The practices for the International Nike Hoop Summit team started early this week, and DraftExpress was able to make it there in time to catch the last half of the Tuesday evening practice. At first, the players worked on a few drills before scrimmaging the Memphis team of high school all-stars, who will play each other in a game before the started of the USA vs. World game on Saturday. Though there is only so much you can take from the practice, some of the prospects stood out with the skills they displayed.

Batum and Casspi are the two players who are really distinguishing themselves apart from the others in my mind. Both of their jumper's look beautiful (although Casspi's seems a little unorthodox at first), and they both get to the rim so easy.

Ajinca's body seems so freakishly long, I just cant understand why he is still so rail thin? Do they not have him on a weight lifting program in France?

Very disappointing Aleksandrov, Shermadini and Dedovic did not practice this morning. I know Aleksandrov is day to day with a sore knee, and Shermadini's foot is hurt somehow. Do you know what's wrong with Dedovic?

They must have that kind of program, because the guy has certainly made serious strides in that regard. You should have seen him in the 2005 summer. I think the idea should be to keep working on his physical built at a reasonable rate, so Ajinca can keep his athleticism intact.

As for the wing couple, I think Casspi will look fine. He's very talented, he's skilled, and he has that passion to deliver every game. Batum, it will depend on whether the game comes to him or he feels good. He's not that consistent in the offensive end and tends to disappear on court, but he's capable of doing amazing things.

Maybe it would be in Ajinca's best interests to get into one of those crazy workout programs they have for the NFL Draft.
