I just want to recommend everyone to watch the last quarter of saturday's DKV Joventut vs Real Madrid.

It was a really interesting game because it decided the final ACB playoff order (DKV won so they ended up 3rd and helped TAU end 1st and Madrid 2nd).

I love the way Ricky Rubio is gaining confidence on himself. It was great to see him stay cool when Madrid players were fouling him during the last minutes trying to put some pressure on him. Even tried to start a fight (Felipe Reyes hitted him with his shoulder on Ricky's head), but Ricky stayed cool and he was confident enough to shoot two consecutive threes on his team's last offense, hitting the last of them.

It was really interesting to watch how some prospects (like Rudy Fernandez, Marko Tomas or Axel Hervelle) act during crunch time.

Yup, Ricky is a stud, he is so mature in his decision making.

Next year he'll play a lot more minutes, so we will be able to see him develop further and achieve greatness..

By the end of next year he could be the new Diamantides (DPOTY in the Euroleague). Or is that too bold of a statement?

Not that bold. Indeed, if I had to pick a pre-season favorite for DPoY, I would go with Rubio right now, even if Prigioni could be a good one to bet as well (he could win it this season, but Diamantidis needed a three-peat to become the "Defensive Legend" for Uleb).
