Spain has many of talented players with NBA level abilities ( Calderon, Navarro, Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol, Sergio Rodriguez,Rudy, Garbajosa....)

Ricky Rubio....(awesome talent Top 2 in 2009 NBA Draft)
Victor Claver ( SF probably will be a PF very Talented)

Hahahahaha he lives here in Memphis and goes to a small private school. He is always walking around and looks very uncoordinated i guess because of his long legs. He will be tall though. Growing up in America will hurt him tho.

Yeah, the same exact school. And that is why Marc is just now making a name for himself. He pretty much lost about 3 years of development and his nutrition also set him back. If he had stayed in Barcelona he could of been up with the top 1985's like Milicic, Splitter and Bargnani a lot sooner.
France probably will make the biggest jump of any national team in the coming years. There PF and C and positions are to weak for them to be a major international contender. They have some very promising prospects.
Nicloas Batum (atleast, a top 5-6 pick in the 2008 draft)
Alexis Ajinca (he may have more upside than Batum once he adds 40 to 45 pounds, but Marcus Camby makes well over 10 mil a year)
Antoine Diot (he should be a first round pick in 2009, then we see where he goes from there)
Ludovic Vaty (in the coming years, he should be a late first round to early 2nd round pick).
Alexis Tanghe (he would be my pick to be a great player out France's future PF and C group. Tanghe much further alone then the other French frontcourt players were at his age, skill wise and physically)
There are many French players or players from former colonies that have lived in france playing in the U.S.
Mamadou Diarra Mali (not the soccer player 6-11 235 really talented freak athlete top 50 2007 high school player some of the USC fans think he's as big a get as O. J. Mayo for the long run may stay 2 or 3 years)
Kim Tillie 1988 Utah Utes France (6-9 awesome athlete cannot shoot, but in 3 or 4 years may be very good player with college coaching)
Kenny Kadji Cameroon (6-10 240 top 25 player in 2008 or 2009 class)
Plus they steal have
Johan Petro (probably poorman's Jamal Magloire, but we will see)
Ian Mahinmi (has a ton of talent maybe Jerome Mosio or a good player)
Joakim Noah (may play for France)
The SG SF PG prospects will be there. They can make a huge leap if a 3rd of these players live up to their potential.
Spain Adria Gasol should use some of his brother's money to go play for Barcelona and/or hire personal coaches. with of his family's resources he should be at least an early 2nd round pick. I did not say he would be another pau.

We can't forget of Italy as future european powerhouse...
1985 - Andrea Bargnani (well known as the best 1985 international)
1986 - Marco Belinelli (well known as one of the best 1986 internationals)
1987 - Luigi Datome (athletic 6-9 SF, excellent scorer mentality, needs to play), Daniel Hackett (former USC freshman, 6-6 PG)
1988 - Danilo Gallinari (well known, the best 1988?), Pietro Aradori (6-5 SG who was the top scorer at the last European Championships for U18)
1989 - Andrea Renzi (athletic 6-10 PF/C, excellent low post moves, needs to play)
1990 - Roberto Rullo (6-5 PG/SG - After Rubio, he's probably the most talented euro in his class, he's playing for Benetton Treviso, comparison: Sani Becirovic)
1991 - Niccoḷ Melli (6-9 SF/PF - Still growing... The 2nd coming of Bargnani? The best 1991 in Europe possibly)
Then other good role players (Crosariol 7-0 C 1984 - Fantoni, Poeta 1985 - Vitali, Antonutti 1986 - Cuccarolo 7-3 C 1987, etc)... i think we can be more than dangerous down the road.
The NBA game is built on athleticism. France has a ton of very athletic PF and C prospects. Mamadou Diarra is 6-11 235, he is a freak athlete and a great scorer. He will be atleast a top 15 pick in 2 to 3 years. Alexis Tanghe is as talented as any of the prospects in the 1990 class. I remember the first time I saw a highlight of Mahinmi's. He did a great crossover move and dunked on the man defending him. He is as good an athlete as any PF or C in NBA not named Amare or Dwight. Alexis Ajinca has a chance to be a great defensive player with his athleticism and wingspan.
Nicolas Batum is the best 1988 international prospect; his game translates well to the NBA. He went against the best American high school prospects; they coudn't stop him. I have seen many good comparisons like Rudy Gay and Joe Johnson. They two of the more talented players in NBA. Batum has great athleticism and wingspan. He should be a above average NBA defender. The best majority of the bestplayers in the NBA are great athletes. He has more potential than anyone in 1988 class.
If a 3rd of France's prospects players reach their potenial the French NT will be scary to play. No other European country can match France's Future PF and C prospects. They have much more NBA level talent.

Yeah that is deffinetely true, and with the recent emergence of Rodrigue Beaubois it is becoming more and more clear. The french u19 team is one of the deadliest teams (atleast as far as prospects go) as I think has been around lately. I mean before I guess the Russian and Serbian 1987 class were at the top, but this 1988/1989 class is phenominal. Batum, Vaty, Diot, Ajinca, Beaubois and Moerman. The question is who do you start at the point now...Diot or Beaubois?
Diot is clearly the starting PG of the U19 team right now. Beaubois was averaging 2.0ppg in Douai and Diot around 12ppg
Rodrigue Beaubois (got axed from the U19 World Championship. I guess their coach didn't like his Eurocamp trip during Douai. The French team could use his athleticism. Serbia beat them rather easily.)
Batum ( He needs to be much more agressive. Batum has superstar like talent. He has to be more consistent.)
Ajinca (His biggest weak is his weight; if he doesn't gain some weight, he will never play in the NBA.)
Vaty (He needs develop his skills dribbling, jumper, and all aroung game. He is a great rebounder and insider scorer, but he could be a mucher better player than he is now. Talentwise "First rounder" If he doesn't further develop his gam he is a mid to late second rounder)
