Boban Marijanovic played very nice in preperation games for Hemofarm Vrsac and he also had a nice start in the season against Zvezda yesterday with 15 points and 4 rebounds in 20min. Hopefully he can deliever more games like this, this season.

If he dores enter then I've found the perfect 60th pick. He'd surely be a long term prospect who'd be stashed away abroad via a 2nd round pick.

He won't play a lot this year for two reasons.
The first one is that Dusan Ivkovic (Serbian National Team coach) wants him to develop his muscles in order to have less problems with his knees and to become more atlethic. Anyway, he will play next european championship , unless he would be injured). Ivkovic is keen of his playing abilities and of his personality.
The second one is that the new Hemofarm coach Karadzic prefers to play with Vukosavljevic as center. Vukosavljevic is good player with amazing stats against weak teams, but against european level teams he's a crap.
One another fact, last year against Girona, Marjanovic played well against Marc Gasol.

looks to be a late second round to undrafted guy in 2010 when he is automatically eligible for the draft. can maybe develop into a roleplaying bench player in the league because of his size.
Good shotblocker, strong big body, long arms, plays hard, good rebounder, has a lot of offensive potential with nice touch on his shot, needs to develop some post moves, bad hands, so big could be riddled by injury his whole career.
Likely role in the NBA is as a big body that can take up space, protect the paint, and rebound on defense.

If he could put up the numbers that Coach says then he'd be a nice draft pick up but given his size he seems more like Kenny George than say Haseem Thabeet or Roy Hibbert.
Would he have the speed for the NBA I wonder ?

he takes a little while to get going but once he is going he has pretty decent speed for a guy his size.

From the limited amount that I had seen for his size he has reasonable movement, obviously he won't be leading a D'Antoni 7 second offence but whether he could last an 82 game season would be interesting.
Also looking at the raw stats predictions, is he perhaps a little like Ratliff, Priz and potentially Thabeet, an elite blocker but for his size only an average rebounder. Obviously very large guys may not be prolific offensive rebounders although Thabeet has good figures in this column but I always feel that they should get better defensive RPG as this if nothing else can launch the break thus the old fashioned big can be used in a smallball line up.
