tatum is a guy that could go in the late second round to undrafted. i think he will be an end of the bench/better off overseas or lower level american league type player.
he plays hard, high basketball IQ, good defender (on ball pressuring pg's and off ball getting steals in passing lanes), shooter out to 3 (streaky), clutch, knows how to draw fouls (can't finish after the contact), needs to get stronger, not much potential, will struggle to score (defenders will be too athletic for him to create his own shot).

I strongly disagree. If a guy like Derek Fisher can get his shot in the NBA, Jamaal tatum would be way more effective. Have you ever seen JT play? tatum could play at least a Daniel Gibson type role in his rookie season as should improve from there. If a team like the Utah Jazz drafts him, look out. A high IQ point guard like Deron Williams paired with tatum would be dangerous! the jazz could use him Right Now in the playoffs.

and im not to sure tatum would make a huge difference in the playoffs for any team as a rookie, or even later in his carrer

he still is looking like a late second to undrafted guy going into orlando and yes i have seen him play. after the first day of orlando he hasn't looked bad but he hasn't look good either from what i have read just average. he needs to look good and be one of the better players out there to move up the draft board.
he is a guy at best that could turn out to be a top bench player in the NBA. to me he isn't even close to derrick fisher he is more of a poor man's tyronn lue because he can play defense and is good at creating his own shot especially from the midrange like lue but he isn't as quick. if he makes it in the league ,which i still have questions about like i said before he could be better off overseas or in nbdl, he will be a guy that comes off the bench and plays smart and hard, will defend, and be able to score from the PG spot.

Pound for pound, Derek Fisher is up there with Earl Boykins for strongest in the NBA. Jamaal Tatum is nice, but he's not in their league, literally. I mean, he could make a cameo appearance in the NBA, but a championship-caliber starting PG like Fisher? Nah, not even a little bit.

He could get a shot to be a drafted, to a team that needs a pure shooter. But he really may not. I thought Shakur would be a lock for a 2nd round spot a few months ago, but as of late I am really unsure. He is a better true PG then some that may get drafted a head of him. He just showed alot of unncertanties this season. I think Shakur should get drafted before Tatum, but like I said if a team really is desperate for a shooter, then it's Tatum.
