Great season. Why is in the 2009 mock? He could be late first round pick in 2008. Now that he is shooting and scoring consistently he will be good nba player. He has the mentality for the NBA unlike most unsuccesful european guards. I dont understand him being hehind Shved in the 09 mock when they share similar physical abilties and Shved hasnt shown anything in the euroleague while Tepic has played great in euroleague and proven himself.

also why is Teodosic not in mocks? He is nit far from the NBA he is just not getting much of a chance. Would this have to do with his own personal disinterest in coming to the nba?

Shved is more athletic and has a better stroke, while Teodosic`s athleticism and especially defense is major concern, even if i wouldn`t rule out 2nd round selection.

I donīt agree on that that Tepic has a great season in EL so far. He had 3 very good games. One against Barca and 2 against Roanne. The others were awufl, when we speak about scoring. I watched all games of Partizan in EL this season and also some games in Adriatic League and Tepic often seems to unsure. For me it looks like he is afraid of making mistakes and his jumper is still inconsitent when we speak about EL. But he is shooting better then last year. If he get hot he can easily score 15 points ore more, but if not he can play 2 days and will achiev nothing. In Adriatic League he is playing much better and is the 2nd best player after Pekovic in Partizan. All in all we can say that he has improved compared to last season, but he donīt have a great season so far in my opinion. If he would play like Gallinari or 80% of it then it would be a great season.

For one, from what I'm told, he will not be declaring for the draft this year.

Two, I've watched him a bunch and I can't say I've ever came away terribly impressed by him, although I did only watch his Euroleague footage. I just don't what his role would be in the NBA, since there isn't really anything he does all that well. He's not a PG in the NBA (like he is for Partizan sometimes), his defense isn't strong enough to be an NBA specialist (his hips look stiff to me, especially against quicker guys, I wonder if he can guard really athletic SFs in the NBA), his jumper is ugly, so I wonder how quickly he'd be able to get his range out to the NBA line, and he's kinda soft looking. Hesitates a lot, passes up shots. He's really nice to have in a half-court (in the Euroleague especially) since he's so mature and versatile, but I wonder if teams will value him the same way. Plus, his people are really not that enamored with the NBA, since it's quite obvious that financially he'd be taking a huge risk coming over here compared to what he can make in Spain these days.

The way that Teodosic played this summer at the u20s shows he is close to ready, and obviously his performance with the senior nt did not hurt him. Offensively he is great with his passing and court vision and shooting. I am suprised the scouts are not higher on him. Although I asked him several times about the NBA and he directly said he was not interested.

i think tepic is an early to late second round pick in 2009 when he is automatically eligible. he could develop into an offensive roleplaying starter.

combo guard that is a good midrange shooter (elite ft shooter), good rebounder and can post up, good passer, high basketball IQ, not very athletic, poor lateral quickness, poor defender.

likely role in the nba is as a combo guard that can hit the midrange shot and play smart.

The kid's a role player. He keeps the ball moving. That's what will get him drafted, but he might not stick in the league because of, well, a lot of factors that plague many European prospects from successfully making the transistion. The fact team use match-up zone more often now help a kid like him. He can stick on one side of the floor and make plays in the passing lanes when he's on the weak side. Offensively, he can get into the pockets of the zone, but if the opposing team just sticks a feisty defender on him ans won't let him touch the ball, his effectiveness on the offensive side the floor would diminish.

Worth a flyer in the second round in 2009. Wouldn't get drafted this year, despite a good showing at the Eurocamp in June.

The new Dejan Bodiroga, able to play PG, SG and SF. I expect him to be draft in the first round and to play the 2009 eurobasket. Dusan Ivkovic has even said that he will be serbian main player.

having a great season and really making me rethink my stance on him with what he's shown so far.
