Can he and Blatche both contribute off the bench? Or will one eventually get pushed out of the rotation? It seems inevitable that Etan Thomas is leaving this summer so it'll be interesting what type of frontcourt they'll field next year.

Pecherov is a PF that is athletic, has a nice inside/outside game (finesse big), skilled, good shooter out to 3, plays hard, scorer, quick, can handle the ball, poor defender, inconsistent. He should develop into a borderline starter/6th man type player that could step in and play big minutes off the bench as a rookie.
Blatche is a PF that has a lot of potential, has a good wingspan, is athletic, finesse outside playing bigman. He probably will develop into a good rotation player (8th, 9th, or 10th man).
So, as you can see they are both finesse playing bigs so I don't know if they both will be able to hang on in the longrun with the Wizards since they also have Jamison and Songolia who play the 4. I think they hang on to Pecherov because he will come in and contribute more his rookie year than Blatche has so far and he will be a better long term pro.

well blatche has really improved this year and with caron butler out jarvis hayes will be starting and blatche will fill some nice minutes at the SF
eddie jordan loves blatche and i have a feeling that he will stick around for a little bit because his main position is SF even though he is 6'11''
percherov will also be around because the wizards will give their 1st round pick a few years to develop

This report sounds INCREDIBLY good for Wizards fans (Blatche, in addition to Pesh) including those desperate to see the Haywood experiment end:
