I don't understand why OKC didn't keep him, but they traded for Thabo. They are similar players in my mind, although I must give credit where it's due, because Sefolosha has played well with Durant.

Sefolosha always had good defensive potential so if he can do that role at OKC suddenly they look a lot more solid. The scoring can be done by Durant, Green, Westbrook etc so he can just concentrate on his defensive duties.
