-2012 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament: Official Rosters and Preview

Observations:

-
Kyle O'Quinn measured out exceptionally well for a NBA big man prospect, at 6-8 ¾ without shoes, 241 pounds and a gigantic 7-5 wingspan. While he's not a particularly explosive athlete, he should have no problem playing either big man spot in the NBA.

-
While possessing many characteristics skill-wise of a power forward, Henry Sims is definitely tall enough to play as a center in the NBA at 6-10 without shoes, 251 pounds and a 7-4 wingspan.

-
Eli Holman isn't the biggest prospect out there at 6-7 ½ without shoes, but his 7-4 wingspan ties for the second longest measured at Portsmouth.

-
Garrett Stutz was the tallest player measured at the PIT at 6-11 without shoes, and also has a very nice wingspan at 7-3, which helps explain his solid rebounding numbers.

-
JaMychal Green will need to add some bulk to his lanky 217 pound frame, but his 7-2 ½ wingspan is pretty solid considering he's 6-7 ½ without shoes.

-
The heaviest player at the camp by far is Yancy Gates at 287 pounds. His 7-3 wingspan is intriguing, but he'll obviously need to get in much better shape than he was here.

-
Kevin Murphy measured extremely well for a wing player at 6-6 without shoes, even if his 6-7 wingspan isn't great and at 195 pounds he's definitely on the lanky side.

-
Jordan Taylor has decent size for a point guard at 6-0 ¾ without shoes, even if his 6-3 ½ wingspan is just average.

-
Kent Bazemore's 6-11 ½ wingspan is extremely impressive relative to his 6-3 3/4 height without shoes.

-
Lazeric Jones' 6-7 ¼ wingspan is extremely impressive relative to his 5-11 ½ height without shoes.
