New Zealander
Isaac Fotu was forced to leave Hawaii due to NCAA sanctions, but ended up landing on his feet in a major way. He was signed by mid-level ACB team Zaragoza, and loaned to bottom feeders Manresa, where he saw significant playing time and ended up having an outstanding season. Fotu was just 1/11 for 3 in his two seasons at Hawaii, but somehow managed to find an outside shot in Spain and finished 38% for 3 on nearly four attempts per game. Fotu has always been a tough, smart and extremely competitive player, and the development of his outside shot at least gives him a chance to get looks from NBA teams now considering his productivity. He's a little bit undersized for a power forward at around 6-8, but his productivity at such a high level of competition can't be ignored.
