-HOUSTON AT ARIZONA. Houston won this one last year and appears to have the potential to be a good team once again, but haven’t performed up to their expectations so far. This would really turn their season around, but Arizona is very tough to beat, especially on the road. Arizona is on pace to make the pod system right now.

-SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AT INDIANA. Southern Illinois is off to a pretty good start, but this would still be a nice road win for them. Indiana has been playing better, but still doesn’t have a win against a team as good as SIU, so this would be a big OOC win for them as well. Both teams play good defense, so it should be exciting.

-LSU AT OREGON STATE. Oregon State can be tough to beat at home, but they haven’t faced anyone as strong as LSU yet. It would be a nice out of conference road win for the Tigers if they pull it off.

-WAKE FOREST AT VIRGINIA TECH (ACC). This is an early season conference game for both teams. Both appear to be on the outside looking in as far as making the tournament goes, but both still have the opportunity to play their way into the picture if they do well in the ACC, so this one is important in that aspect.

-Kansas State, Wichita State and New Mexico are all beginning play in the Las Vegas Classic, but are all facing some of the weakest teams in college hoops. The quality of competition will pick up once they begin facing each other.

BUY GAMES

-SACRED HEART AT BOSTON COLLEGE. Sacred Heart has played several top level teams this year and hasn’t looked that bad, but they are likely little match for BC today. A win gets BC to 7-2.

-SAINT MARY’S AT CONNECTICUT. A win gets Connecticut to 9-0 on the year.

-BELMONT AT ILLINOIS. Belmont is a respectable 6-2 and Illinois has struggled at times, but this still appears to be a big mismatch.

-IDAHO STATE AT OREGON. A huge mismatch. Oregon should have little trouble improving to 10-0.

-TX A&M CORPUS CHRISTI AT UNLV. UNLV is coming off their major upset win against Nevada and will face one of the better teams from the Southland Conference today.
