-BUTLER AT CLEVELAND STATE (Horizon League). Butler has a big showdown with Wright State on Saturday, who is just one game behind them in the conference standings. They are way undermatched tonight by Cleveland State, but it's still the kind of game they need to avoid losing if they want to be seeded #4 or better.

-NOTRE DAME AT DE PAUL (Big East). De Paul is in a bit of a freefall and has racked up quite a few losses lately. Notre Dame has struggled on the road and could use this road win on their resume.

-NEVADA AT FRESNO STATE (WAC). This is one of the tougher road challenges for Nevada in the WAC. Fresno State could give them all kinds of trouble at home. Nevada will remain in first place and is still in good shape for a bid even if they lose, but this would be a nice road win for them.

-DREXEL AT HOFSTRA (Colonial Athletic). Hofstra is still just a game behind VCU in the conference standings, and if they can win the league outright they should get a serious look from the committee. Drexel has some good wins, but has stumbled in conference play more than they can really afford to. They probably need to win out to be solidly in the mix, and today's game won't be easy. These two went to overtime earlier this year with Hofstra pulling out the win.

-RHODE ISLAND AT MASSACHUSETTS (Atlantic Ten). These two teams are currently atop the Atlantic Ten standings. Rhode Island probably needs to win the tournament to get in, but UMass will get a serious look if they can finish first in the league.

-ARIZONA STATE AT OREGON (Pac Ten). Oregon should be able to win this one, and stay in the pod system race, as well as the Pac Ten race. A loss would look pretty bad on their resume.

-ARIZONA AT OREGON STATE (Pac Ten). Arizona has struggled lately, but they picked up a blowout win against Washington in their last game and have a very winnable road game against a struggling Oregon State team tonight.

-CALIFORNIA AT WASHINGTON (Pac Ten). Washington needs to go on a winning streak to get themselves back in position to where they'll be considered for an at-large.

-STANFORD AT WASHINGTON STATE (Pac Ten). This is the biggest matchup in the Pac Ten tonight. Both teams appear to be solid NCAA teams right now, and Washington State is in a position to make the pod system. They're also just one game behind UCLA in the conference standings, so this would be a big win because it keeps them in the picture.

-INDIANA STATE AT WICHITA STATE (Missouri Valley). Wichita State has been playing better, but they still need to go on a winning streak to get themselves back in the NCAA Tourney picture.
