-The semifinals of the Paradise Jam are today. Xavier battles Villanova and Iowa takes on Alabama. Its a good chance for statement wins for all teams involved, which is important to Xavier because they arent likely to get many opportunities for those types of wins in conference.
Other interesting games are:
-New Mexico State @ Arizona. NMSU suffered a heartbreaking loss to LMU, but can rebound with one of their few shots at a big time win, which would help their NCAA profile.
-Old Dominion @ Georgetown. Georgetown is unbeaten, but this is a tough opponent for them. For ODU, its a chance to get a big time win on the road.
-Davidson @ Missouri. Mizzou is unbeaten, but untested. Davidson is a good team out of the SoCon, but has a lot of work to do before theyre considered a tourney caliber team. Not a huge test for Mizzou, bu the biggest one theyve had so far.
-UW Milwaukee @ Northern Iowa. Northern Iowa looks to rebound from their loss at Washington and continue their impressive start so far.
