NBA Draft Prospect of the Week: Thanasis Antetokounmpo
January 13, 2014
Delaware 87ers forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo has proven himself as one of the best athletes in the NBA D-League through 19 games. Will his athleticism, energy, and defensive potential be enough to warrant using a draft pick on the Greek forward in the 2014 NBA Draft?

Antetokounmpo, brother of Bucks' rookie sensation Giannis Antetokounmpo, made the unusual decision to join the NBA D-League as an international prospect rather than continue to ply his trade in his home country of Greece. Thanasis' terrific physical tools give him plenty of room to grow long term as his basketball IQ, skill-level and fundamentals improve.

Attending the D-League Showcase in Reno this past week gave us an excellent opportunity to evaluate Antetokounmpo's very distinct strengths and weaknesses as a prospect, which we've done in the following video scouting report courtesy of Mike Schmitz.

All of our video scouting reports this season can be found here.
